Kids-Explorer

kids_explo2

Dolphins are the messengers of the sea. The “Kids Explorer” program was designed with groups and school classes in mind. It allows kids to get to know these mammals first hand, like a blind date, but not a reality or action show.

With the help of our dolphin trainer, the participants learn everything there is to know about these very interesting animals. Practical examples explain anatomy, social behavior and habitat.
Questions about communication and radiolocation are answered. Issues like the “Flipper” stereotype are also discussed. The trainer will also answer any questions the children have.

lagune4Even the topic of protection is not neglected. One of our biggest goals is to show our visitors what humans can do to protect the endangered mammals.

At the end of each program, the participants have the chance to get close with our dolphins on the beach.

“Kids Explorer” takes place regardless of the weather, at Europe’s most beautiful open-air lagoon. The lagoon is 81m by 35m and represents the first habitat for dolphins in Switzerland that is a replica of their natural environment.

“Kids Explorer Program” is for groups and school classes of 20 people or more. Early reservation is necessary. Tel: +41 52 762 72 72
