Connyland makes it possible. With the program “Dolphin Trainer for a Day” we are responding to the big demand from our visitors to get an inside look into our dolphin and sea lion training; to work with them and get close to them. How does it work? Call us and reserve an available date. Please be aware that there is a great demand!

The routine:
Work starts at 9:00am. Our team of trainers welcome you and then it starts right away. You are introduced to the daily duties of a dolphin and sea lion trainer.

Wake up the sea lions. Together with our attendants, you’ll get the sea lions out of their “bed”, where they are waiting for their breakfast. But you don’t just simply feed them, their motto is: work comes before fun. Already you learn tricks on how to give sea lions instructions.

Next stop, the lagoon, the home of the dolphins. They are also hungry. Close-up with our dolphin pod – the ultimate experience.

Soon, it’s time for the first training session. You are close by, and part of the show team.

Then, it’s time for a break – you enjoy a fine lunch with our training crew. Now it’s time for any questions you have.

This goes on all day long, and you will learn everything about the work and life of a dolphin and sea lion trainer.

Apart from dividing the fish among the animals, there are more chores to be done, like cleaning , taking water samples, and much more.
At 6:00pm, the animals are going back to “bed” and you also will be tired after a busy and exciting day.

How many and who: up to 2 guests per day, minimum age 14 years. (Identification papers are required for children)
